The due date for Soul Train papers has been changed to Friday, February 24th!!

Also, students should write about “What is our place in nature?”  Due on Thursday, February 23rd.

Every student must be accompanied by a parent.

There is a $10.00 charge per family (cash or money order)

Remember!!!  All Soul Train papers are due on Thursday, February 23, 2012.  You will have computer time on Tuesday.  The papers should  include groups or individuals who performed between 1976 and 1993.

The person to look up tonight is Norbert Rillieux (two facts).   Get to school on time to be eligible for prizes!!!!

The Constitution test will be given on Thursday, February 2, 2012!!!

Also, REPORT CARDS will be SENT home via the students on Wednesday, February 1, 2012!

Homework for tomorrow is:  Listen to President Obama’s State of the Union Address tonight.  Bring in five big points/ideas he presented. 

REMEMBER:  The Constitution test is Thursday, February 2, 2012.

Reading (of Mice and Men) projects are due on Monday, January 9, 2011.  Students have a sheet which outlines the possible choices for the project.  Also, they have a rubric to explain how the project will be graded. 

Social studies–should have the Constitution book completed through page 44.
